Better maps for professional apps.

Here Pushpin is coloring census tracts in shades of green, keyed to ranges of median income. Maps shade on the fly and thousands of variables are easily supported. Data comes through the Pushpin API from the customer or Pushpin Collections.

Note the speed as layers toggle. Also note that the shading completely preserves legibility and eye-appeal.

This map shows boundaries from Pushpin Collections. Here, Pushpin's layer architecture manages boundaries and labels separately. Note that boundaries and labels each toggle very quickly.

Pushpin Rendermap can create custom boundaries such as sales territories to spec. These work like standard Pushpin boundaries, and are equally responsive and visually attractive.

This tiled map was rendered to spec from spatial data by Pushpin Rendermap. It has no detail in common with the standard Pushpin base map. Note that streets and labels are independent. With Rendermap, custom maps can be "exploded" into any layer set an application requires.

Either Placebase cartographers or customers can supply cartographic styling for custom maps.

This map shows that Pushpin can handle very large numbers of markers without a performance hit. It also shows off native pin filtering, saving developers from having to implement a very common application function from scratch.

This map shows property parcel boundaries from Pushpin Collections. Like all Pushpin layers, parcel boundaries can be flipped on and off very, very quickly under application control.

Breadth of coverage can be a concern with parcels, due to labor-intensive sourcing. Pushpin Collections addresses this issue by working with the best commercial aggregators in the business.

This is a heat map. Another example of Pushpin's versatility, the map suggests network coverage problems based on the location and count of cell phone users' complaints.

Note that streets remain unaltered and clear as the heat maps toggle. This clean, legible, and fast display is impossible without Pushpin's pre-rendered, multi-layer base map and server-side compositing.
